Review: Disconnect (2012) **** (out of 4) excellent character study looked at a group of people were damaged due to the activities of living day Internet. Is a story of a married couple (Paula Patton, Alexander Skarsgård) who mourn the loss of their child when they discover that their identity has been stolen. A lawyer (Jason Bateman) tries to understand what has happened to his sons that made him do something drastic. A television journalist (Andrea Riseborough) using an online sex actor (Max Thieriot) for its own needs. A former cop (Frank Grillo) discovered that his son might have done something that is morally wrong. Disconnect finally bring all these stories together. Have any doubt that not one of these stories are Processability chief?, And I think it's fair to say that many of them play exactly as you would expect. Normally, it would kill a movie here, but director Henry Alex Rubin and screenwriter Andrew Stern doing a good job to give us characters that interest you, want to know more about these images help bring the entire . I think this film has a very good concept of how people have lost touch with reality and sometimes enter dangerous situations online simply because they have nothing better to do and or they're looking for some kind of connection can not be found in their own lives. The movie really does a good job of explaining all these characters and really develop all you really feel as if you know these people and understand what they are doing and why this. It certainly does not hurt that have been providing great performance. Both Bateman and Grillo really stand out as parents who fear they let children down. Thieriot, making waves on Bates Motel, is also very good at wòll servants. Throw in really shines here and it speaks volumes about their talent, but also the scenario, which gives them so much to do. Once again, I think many people will see the end coming, but it is not really important because of the emotional connection that you get with the characters. Disconnect is certainly a gem of a picture showing what a good script, direction and acting ability. |
