Review: Beyond what can be considered a minimalist cinema, everything is lost in the world, create budget indie films are closely woven work that is both intimate and interesting. Redford, whose character is the only character in the film over the ocean, boat, fish, and remaining floating objects to attract the viewer's attention not only during, but also dramatic edge of a story that takes place during the 8 days of human remains at sea. Without the benefit of the results of this film, Redford dig performance so layered and complex, while leaving empty existence, vulnerable, and expressed hope and survival illuminates each scene. Chandler director, who previously worked also important, wrote a piece that playing puzzles and achieve spiritual weight is not too large or preach non-believers, but the edge search means for survival and humanity . Although the story and directing force the audience to follow predictable scenario, the power of the film is in the building and gather momentum until the final delivery of the main character of the results. Not to be overlooked is the fusion score, sound, and cinematography that Redford played the balance and rhythm of the story director. In general, critical, this film has moments where I was not able to maintain the action shows that viewers focus. It is, and it may occur at the box office commercially driven perspective becomes worthless to the general public looking for a quick pay off, but make no mistake, this film is much in the conversation for the best movie this year, and perhaps you will believe Redford appreciation academy justified. All is lost, do not require attention, lulls you into a journey that makes you disappear in a pulse when a sincere emotion honestly that jars, and until the last Redford credits role. |
