Review: I was impressed with the film and I could not believe that this is the first movie Scott Walkers. It was very well done. In the film, you can really tell a director / write (and Scott) tries to attain perfection. The script was powerful, research and education for many this can only imagine. I especially liked the whole film in color, very dark and depressing, it made my heart heavy. Excellent quick opening grabbed my attention immediately, and very intense ending. Even though you know the bad guy fell in the end it is difficult to breathe in the end. One of my favorite scenes, when Cindy saw a moose in Alaska. Please note that at this point. It was very beautiful and poetic. Performance John Cusack was amazing! He convinced me that he really was a murderer! Also, I have a new respect for Vanessa Hudgens. I thought it was a popular success. But no, I really felt how much effort it would be for the film, and she put her heart into it. Nice to see Dean Norris too! He began acting career in the 60's, but only got a very popular and well-known of this year. (Breaking Bad) I can not imagine how many up and downs of the journey. He's a great actor. I look forward to your success! Generally, I always think that the story of the film is the soul, the most important factor. I liked the serial killer, Robert Hansen story! I am glad that Scott wrote the movie, and it's on the big screen! |
